Hi Marléne!

I just wanted to thank you for helping me navigate the challenge I was having.
Thanks to your guidance and coaching I feel more clarity and confidence with pressing forward towards my goals but also ALLOWING certain things to unfold as they need to.
Many thanks!

Hello there! Hope you’re still healthy and well 😊 just wanted to say THANK YOU! We worked on my performance anxiety and today it was put to the test. I played violin for Anja’s kindergarten class today and I didn’t have any stage fright at all! Thank you. Full stop.

Whatever we looking to achieve in our lives, be it personal or professional, the first port of call is the Discovery of Self. This is not an event; it is a journey, that requires us to check in every so often to re-assess and continue.

As someone who travels this road, and as a coach, I fully recognise that it is not a road one can easily and authentically travel alone and when I needed to check in, I connected with Marlene Nunes to realign.

I went into the “Life Alignment” session not knowing what to expect, but knowing re-alignment was necessary, before continuing on my exciting journey.

Marlene creates such a safe, comfortable, relaxing, space, that the ease with which I was able to speak my own truths, was truly amazing and re-energizing. She is competent and a professional to her fingertips, who only has her clients interests at heart.  To sum it up I went in, out of alignment, and after an hour, came out re-aligned, balanced, fulfilled and ready to continue on my journey.

If you want to show up as your best self, this is a must. I would highly recommend Marlene to anyone feeling they need to re-align and ask not what is the cost of doing this, but rather what is the cost of not……

Thank you, Marlene, !!!!

Life Alignment

Good afternoon I wanted to give myself some time to see if I felt any change from out session on Friday. I am feeling a lot more grounded and relaxed, I did not feel to good on Friday afternoon. Thank you for the session.

Marlene and I met through BNI. From our very meeting, there were similarities we identified in each other. Our next meeting was even more of a celebration, as we learned possible synergies.
Marlene offers a Soul Plan Session and I find this kind of Personal Development invaluable. Marlene went through my Soul Plan in detail, providing both insight and a PDF for future reference of our discussion. Marlene facilitated a positive discussion around potential growth area’s, as well as confirming and celebrating my strengths. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND having a session with Marlene, her coaching skills and intuition takes you through your Soul Plan, with kindness and growth. Thank you Marlene!

I have always jokingly referred to Marléne as my “guru”. Even my wife, when I am leaving for a
session of some sort has sometimes said: “enjoy the time with your guru!”
The reason though, is actually quite simple. I have always been the kind of person that has problems
following the path that my feelings or emotions take. I may feel a particular way, but am usually quite
unable to track it backwards to a source, or forwards to a solution.
The value that Marléne has for me is her innate ability to ask the right questions.
So when I was – at the tail end of 2020 – invited to a try out a Life Alignment session, I jumped at
the opportunity. 2020 being what it was my mind was fuzzier than usual. Conflicting information and
insights were muddying up the waters, adding to the general angst that the year had brought. I was at a
point where everything was blocked up and I was simply riding the wave of whatever came, just reacting
to everything. The result was that I stood still atop that wave. I couldn’t turn left nor right, and I couldn’t
move forwards. I could just hold on and hope that it would break at some stage and with luck I would
be deposited on the soft sand and not sucked under.

I didn’t know what Life Alignment was. Sure, I looked it up ahead of time but didn’t delve too
much. I didn’t really want to know. The best thing I find – when visiting with Marléne – is to take along
no preconceived ideas. So when she asked what my intentions for the session were, I had no idea. I’m
not great at processing my own feelings, remember?

So we climbed into it. I won’t go into the process. That is something you discover for yourself. But
I chose to trust the process – and Marléne – as I always have and let things fall where they may. We
started with some baseline questions and then she began her work.
Marléne’s ability to ask the right questions and come right to the heart of the matter is, like I said,
the reason I go. And this was no exception. The combination of the Life Alignment program with
Marléne’s ability to…what is the word…her intuition, very quickly started to target in on exactly what I
was feeling. We chatted through a few of those emotions, constantly testing them, until we zeroed in on
the root. Once we knew that, we could work towards releasing those emotions and changing my focus,
re-framing the situations I found myself in.

My problem with psychotherapy is that it is so abstract. Not so with this process. There is no
messing around on the fringes. We got right to the heart of it and the realisations of how I was actually
feeling – which was quite different to what I THOUGHT I was feeling – were quite profound. I shifted
from being stuck in that emotion to a point where I could see my way down off the wave.
And taking the plunge wasn’t difficult. Moving forward, off that wave and getting started again,
getting out of that stagnant place, was easier than I thought it might be. In the days following the Life
Alignment session I found myself doing things that I had been putting off. I hadn’t consciously planned
to do those things; I just found myself doing them. And when I stopped to think about it I realised: some
shift has taken place. I am standing up again. Some abandoned projects were restarted; some that I had
been putting off were completed. I found my relationships – and my thoughts towards them – taking on
new importance.

The biggest change, though? Clarity. I felt clearer in my mind, not as fuzzy. I started to filter the
information coming in better and forming opinions that resonated with me. At one stage during the two
sessions I had I was compelled to look back into my past, at certain events that I had kept caged up.
While I am not 100% on going there, not yet, I am at least not fearful of doing so, and perhaps
even a little curious, to see what would happen if I went into those moments fully and gave myself
permission to release them, along with the emotions that they throw up.

So yes: if there is something Marléne does well, it is asking the right questions, and getting right
into the marrow. That is the value that she has for me.

I have been working with Marléne for just over a year and have been inspired every day by her in our professional relationship.
Recently, I had the privilege of having a QEC/ Coaching session with her. I am in awe of her intuitive ability, her calming presence and her easy to use techniques during the session. But most of all her warm and supportive nature that doesn’t end after the session, it continues on, making sure that you are managing during the weeks that follow and readily offers advice and helpful tips should you find yourself needing these.

Marléne’s knowledge and experience is evident as she journeys with you through sensitive memories or challenges and helps you to release the negative energy; always careful to ensure you leave the session feeling supported and un-alone.

I cannot imagine the toll this must take on her personally and others like her, but I am grateful that she was given this gift and shares it so freely.

Thank you Marléne

I took part in a QEC session with Marléne recently where we talked about the subject of Boarding School Syndrome as I was interested in exploring whether I had been impacted by my seven years in boarding school.  From the moment we started chatting it amazed me how the conversation shifted clearly to another trauma in my life and we used the QEC method to resolve some of that.

Marléne is an amazing facilitator and extremely skilled with TRE and QEC. She was able to connect very quickly with my underlying story and, as a man, I found it easy to get to a straight and honest dialog with her. Marléne kept the session moving at a rapid pace, which suited me, and understood exactly when the right time was to move from the talking to the QEC action. We were able to mix TRE and QEC in one session which I found very powerful. I felt extremely safe and supported through the various stages of the process. All in all, it was a session that worked for me very effectively and so much quicker than hours of therapy on a couch.

Thank you so very much for today. You really just know how to handle these things.

Exxx really really enjoyed the session and just messaged me again to say she is feeling so so calm and relaxed for the first time in a long time.. I will definitely bring her to TRE again. Thank you for ‘pushing’ or reminding me about the session during the week.

This really meant so much to her.

The session was intense but felt so connected.

Thank you for being you and your love for people and their happiness. X

Florette – 7/12/2019

Thank you for a fantastic session on Saturday. There was a level of letting go that I have not experienced before. I suspect I was more in-tune with my whole body (soma) so experienced it differently.
